For the safety of borough employees and residents, public access is available by appointment only for matters that cannot be handled by phone, mail or email

Residents can reach the borough hall at 973-827-9280 and specific department exensions listed below for assistance:

Municipal Clerk/Registrar – Ext 100 or 101

Municipal Court – Ext 107 or 108

Tax Assessor – Ext 116 or 118

Tax, Water/Sewer – Ext 117

Land Use or Recreation – Ext 125

Zoning – Ext 113

Water & Sewer payments may be paid by mail or left in the drop box on the front of Borough Hall. There is also an online payment option by credit/debit or by check at the following link: http://www.franklinborough.org/online-water-bill-payment/. NO CASH PAYMENTS will be accepted in person. PROPERTY TAX PAYMENTS – May 1, 2020 remains the second quarter property tax due date. With the passage of the Resolution #2020-33, the Borough Council has extended the grace period for late payments to June 1, 2020. Payments made after June 1, 2020 will incur interest and penalties retro back to May 1, 2020.

Garbage and recycling will remain on their normal schedule until further notice.
