Franklin Borough is seeking a part time administrative assistant to perform a wide range of responsibilities that include various confidential administrative, clerical, and analytical tasks for the Tax Assessment Department and the Department of Public Works. Responsibilities include administrative support in capital project tracking, preparation of purchase orders, drafting correspondence, and maintenance of records and files for both departments and the assessment of real and personal property under the direction of the Assessor. Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel and must be organized, self-motivated, enjoy multi-tasking, and possess a strong work ethic. Local Government purchasing experience and familiarity with MSI and MicroSystems a plus. Must be detail oriented, well organized, have excellent leadership qualities, written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work well with the public. Assessing experience is a plus.
