The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) project team for the ‘Route 23, Master Street to Scenic Lake Road’ project is preparing to begin our outreach with the public. As part of this effort, NJDOT will be distributing a survey to residents along the Route 23 corridor to better understand how they use the corridor and to gain insight into their transportation needs. We are kindly asking that the Borough’s support in sharing the survey with residents, commuters, and visitors.

Their participation will help us maximize engagement and ensure we receive meaningful feedback from the community. Please attached links to the survey.

Please note that the Survey will be open from February 23 – March 27, 2026. After the survey closes, NJDOT will analyze the results to help inform the project.

The Borough of Franklin is excited to announce that we have received this year's Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations minibus package, which was signed into law on Friday, January 23rd.  Franklin received this grant for the amount of $216,000 for the Public Safety Radio Improvement Project, that will greatly benefit our Fire Department and other Public Safety entities.  Franklin Borough would like to thank Senator Kim's office for this opportunity and we look forward to other grant opportunities in the future.
